Terms, refunds, and privacy.

Plain language, because that is how the work is done. These terms apply to every package, add-on, session, and product bought from Dream Executive, by Stripe checkout or by invoice. Paying is agreeing to them.

1. What you are buying

A private writing and strategy engagement with Adam Winfield, with no outsourcing and no junior writers. Every package includes the Orientation Pack and Executive Strategy Brief, a 60 to 90 minute private strategy session, first drafts within 10 business days of that session, unlimited revisions until you type "final approved," 30 days of private access after final delivery, and email support until you land. What each package contains is listed on the packages section at the time of purchase; that list is the scope.

2. Your part

The documents are only as good as the record behind them. You complete the Strategy Brief before the session (up to 4 hours), attend the session, and return edits until you approve the final. If the brief is not returned within 30 days of payment, the engagement pauses and your spot is released to the next client; it restarts when the brief arrives, subject to availability. You confirm that everything you give me is true. I write the strongest honest case; I do not invent titles, dates, degrees, or figures.

3. Timelines

First drafts within 10 business days of the strategy session. Rush delivery (five business days) is available as a paid option at checkout. Revisions are returned within three business days. LinkedIn, biography, dossier, and any Board or Private Equity documents are built after the resume and letter are final. Eight clients a month means dates are real; if I cannot meet one I tell you before it passes.

4. Revisions and "final approved"

Unlimited revisions means every change you ask for within the scope of the package, until you are satisfied and approve the final. Changing the target role or track after drafting starts is a new brief, priced as an add-on. A document is final when you say so in writing; after that, changes are a refresh, priced a la carte.

5. Refunds

In thirteen years and 3,000+ engagements I have refunded about five. The policy is simple:

I do not guarantee interviews or offers. Nobody can. I guarantee the documents will be built to the standard shown on this site and revised until you approve them.

6. Payment

Prices are in USD or CAD, as shown on the checkout page, plus applicable tax. Payment by card through Stripe, or by invoice on request. Two-payment plans, where offered, split the price in two with a small administration fee. The first instalment is taken at checkout; the second is charged automatically to the same card one month later, and the plan then ends. If the second charge fails, Stripe retries and I will contact you; final documents are released once both instalments are paid. Prices change from time to time; the price you paid is the price.

7. Ownership and use

Once paid in full, the final documents are yours to use, edit, and distribute as you see fit. I keep the right to use anonymized, altered excerpts (no names, no companies, no identifying figures) as samples of the standard. If you would rather I did not, say so and I will not. The guides, the Career Sovereignty Kit, and the content on this site are copyright Dream Executive and for your own use.

8. Confidentiality

Everything you tell me, send me or say on a call stays with me. I do not share client names, documents, or situations with anyone, including the white-label partners I write for, and I do not sell or trade contact details. Testimonials are published only with your written permission, in your words.

9. Privacy

What I collect. Your name, email, phone, resume, LinkedIn profile, the Strategy Brief, and what you tell me on calls: the minimum needed to do the work and to invoice it. The site uses analytics to count visits; no advertising trackers.

Who processes it. Calendly (booking), Stripe (payment; I never see your card number), Brevo (email), Netlify (this site and the upload form), Google Workspace (email and files). Each is bound by its own privacy terms and holds only what it needs for its job.

Email. If you book a call, buy a package or request a guide, you will get the emails that go with it. The occasional newsletter goes only to people who have asked for it or bought from me, with an unsubscribe link in every message, as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) and the GDPR require. One click and you are off the list.

Retention. Client files are kept for five years after the engagement so I can refresh your documents on request, then deleted. Ask at any time and I will delete your files sooner, or send you a copy of what I hold.

Where. I work from Ontario, Canada. Clients are worldwide; by working with me you accept that your information is processed in Canada and in the United States by the providers above. UK and EU clients: you have the rights the UK GDPR and GDPR give you (access, correction, deletion, portability); email me to use them.

10. The rest

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If something goes wrong, email me first; it will be sorted faster that way. If we cannot sort it, the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. Questions: adam@dreamexecutive.com.
